Sorry for the late reply, just been busy building the new computer etc. We're still in limbo right now as I'm saving for my wedding in October and the new place to move into when we're married.
But here's a picture of a test production basket from our 12" woofer, might darken the color a little.   I have the 12" prototype in a box about 4ish cft just testing a few things, the high end frequencies are getting cut off at like 47-55hz (maybe more) but destroys lows to (lowest I've tested right now is 23hz) I'm gonna add some 45's and more bracing to reduce the inner cubic feet. this is what the orientation is inside the trunk, once the SNOW and ICE RAIN goes away here in good 'ol Minnesnowta I'll get trunk pictures and videos. Love the prototypes so far sir, where in mn are you at? I live in the cities. I have two 18"APXXs im looking to recone and swap out baskets for 15"s instead.

I would stick with this basket design on all sizes of your lineup!
